Can I donate books to the library?

Answer

The library will happily accept book donations or funds to purchase books! Donations of books and other media should be suitable to and within the scope of the library mission and the current programs offered at UCO. All materials donated to the library will be reviewed in accordance with the current Library Collection Development Policy.

The library reserves the right to make the most appropriate use of the gifts. Any collection offered to Chambers Library will be considered on an individual basis.  Acceptance of the gift will be at the discretion of the library's Executive Director.

The library will not make a monetary evaluation of gift materials, but will provide a listing of the materials.

How to Donate

  1.  Books can be dropped off in the red shopping cart on the first floor near the bottom of the stairs.
  2.  For larger donations, or to get a receipt for a tax deductible donation, please reach out to our coordinator, Jeff Musslewhite at jmusslewhite@uco.edu.
